On December 18, 2008, Jim Munroe, the president and co-founder of MAZE Ministries, was diagnosed with Acute Lympho-cytic Leukemia. His intense regimen of chemotherapy, and likely future bone marrow transplant, has sidelined Jim and the MAZE tour from performances until Jim makes a full recovery. Jim is a patient at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX… one of the best cancer centers in the world. His doctor is extremely optimistic and expects a full recovery in the coming months. (Jim is already way ahead of schedule in his remission.)

With that news, there is so much that you can do to help MAZE through this trying time!

First, please pray for a speedy recovery. Add MAZE to church prayer lists, small-group prayer lists, and your own daily prayer list. Prayer is powerful, as we have already seen in Jim’s first weeks of treatment.

Second, due to the medical expenses and ministry expenses associated with such a trying time, we are asking everyone who finds this site to prayerfully consider getting behind our fundraising efforts. You can give any tax-deductible gift to MAZE Ministries by sending your donation directly to:

Thank you for getting behind MAZE as we battle this disease.

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10 (NKJV)

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
